  7. TDX5000 high-performance, auto-loading nine-track tape drives operate with four
  8. densities: 6250, 3200, 1600, and 800 bpi. TDX5000 operates at 50 ips true
  9. start/stop and 100 isp streaming in all densities. Two modes, programmable and
  10. auto-program, are furnished. Via a front panel LCD display, operators may
  11. select start/stop or streaming, enable/disable cache buffers, adjust transfer
  12. rates, and more. Auto-program allows the drive to select the operating mode
  13. that permits the greatest overall throughput. Available interfaces include
  14. Pertec, SCSI, HPIB, RS-232, ATbus, Micro Channel, and others.
